Something I love is a great dress. Something I am always on the hunt for is a great dress. Before this trip I realized I am mostly a jeans and tee type of person, which is really no new concept for me, I just realized how difficult it can be to find a great dress that is feminine yet understated. I feel that this dress achieves all of that. It's cotton with some embroidery which gives it that feminine touch as well as some Grecian vibes. The authenticity of each garment I found in Greece is truly unparalleled with anything I've ever come across here in LA. I mean, Top Shop tries, but it's just a disaster of fit rolled up in a polyester and slapped with a huge price tag. It's not cute.
This dress is not only flattering, but also conservative in the best way. I have always loved a good midi-length look, be it pants or dress or skirt, and the fact that this dress goes over the knees with out making me look Amish is ah-mazing. It truly encapsulates the look and feel of Greece, and is the perfect summer dress.
It's feminine, understated yet detailed, and makes for a great dress to relish the last days of summer in. I loved everything about Greece, from the shops to people to places, and this last stop to Cape Sounion was absolutely breathtaking. I've left pieces of my soul in various places, but Greece has it in it's entirety.
