Here we have another Culotte.
I think I like this pant because it's non-commital. Like, yes, I see that it's cold outside, but I don't want a jean that is squeezing my legs all day (ahem, skinnies jeans) but I still want something that let's me wear booties for winter and flats for spring, but also has a little flavor. These are all the things that a culotte means to me.
Also, I feel a little like Oliver Twist in this. The stripes, the kind of beat up flat booties and shortened hem pants gives me a feeling of foggy London. How I wish I was actually in London wearing this look. With a foggy landscape curling over Big Ben, and a hot tea in my hand with some macaroons from Ladurée swinging in a bag beside me from Harrods. *sigh* Maybe I'll go back soon, but for now it's just my London Fog in a cup and me elbowing my way through a touristy Ladurée nestled in The Grove.
At least I still have my macaroons and know who Oliver Twist is...right?
