It's almost a joke how inapporate his outfit is. Like, It's rude. It has been in the 50s this past week, and it looks like it's going to stay that way with maybe a "high" being in the mid 60s and I am not having it.
It's so cruel because even though there is the sun, it is just too cold outside to be thinking of wearing anything else besides a large sweater, coat and boots. Maybe I am being a little bit melodramatic as there are actually temperatures out there that are much more freezing than 57 degrees, but it's too much for my little Californian soul to bear I suppose. However, one thing making it more fun is all the outerwear I am getting to wear lately, because I have a lot of it for someone who lives in California. I have four leather jackets, three denim jackets, two fur coats and and endless supply of cardigans. The amount of cardigans I have would last anyone this lifetime enough options to never think twice, but no, I have my eye on three more I needed to have purchased...like yesterday.
Any who, this is not about a cardigan, but about a fun blazer. I have already worn this blazer in a previous post, but pairing it with a leather skirt, some boots and a fun vintage tee can give the *effect* that it is warmer than it really is. Also, it's a kind've cool option to stray away from the hum drum of skinny jeans and just pants in general. I have noticed that during the summer months, I was always in a skirt of some kind, and being back in pants is getting old. So swapping the everyday jean for a pair of tights or skirt or legging is a nice and more comfortable welcome.
Because like it or not, winter is happening and warmth is a must.
