Coming in hot with another blazer.
Obviously it’s warming up, but we’re not at sundresses and barely there slips yet (oh but so soon).
Any who, this blazer is also from the Lorna Luxe range, mentioned earlier and previously, and it is done so right it’s practically criminal. The lining is soft and sturdy, the fabric is heavy but breathable, the pattern is fun but not overbearing. I have been looking for a houndstooth or plaid blazer for many a season. I always find one, then back off it because I just feel uninspired. I love the look, but committing to grey is a whole other story, however, this blazer with the browns, whites and hints of red gives it dimension while still being menswear inspired.
Also, can we believe the bike short? I was feeling something funky, and with a blazer that is so business, I needed something a little more street. I have been loving these bicycle shorts for the season ahead. You and grab a pair for like $8 and wear them anywhere. Around the house, to brunch, on an errand, wherever. And when paired with a blazer this beautiful, you hardly notice the blatant lack of care that a bicycle short screams.
All wrapped up with a pointed toe and white shirt, this is spring brunch, lunch and anything else your heart desires.
